Since my childhood i’ve been a tremendous fan of rapmusic. I got tons of albums and i’ve been to numerous concerts. If you’ve been reading my latest post, you know i got sickle cell disease. In Holland, this is a very rare disease, but in the city where i’m from (Rotterdam) there are a lot of people with this condition. One day i was in the studio making a beat for an artist from Amsterdam when i’ve got a call from IXL. This is a platform for people with sickle cell disease and i know the owner very well. She asked me if i wanted to do an interview with Prodigy of Mobb Deep.
I knew Mobb Deep was on worldtour for their 20th year album anniversary of ‘The infamous’ and i was free on August 7th, so we went to Amsterdam and did it. After the interview, IXL gave me VIP-tickets to watch the Mobb Deep performance at the “Appelsap Fresh Music Festival” also in Amsterdam the next day. I went there with a good friend of mine and we got to see the Mobb Deep performance. I think for a group that exists for this long, their performances are still very good and energetic. I thought the show of Mobb Deep was better than the show of Rich Homie Quan, who also did an performance there.
Since i am an artist myself, i had a show the next day, so i didn’t stay in Amsterdam too late. Guess where my show of the next day would be? That’s right, Amsterdam! So the next day i went back with the boys of M.H.T. (Mirakle, Hendryx, Tigrii) and we had a great performance in “Noorderpark”.
